Images from the personal collections of the St. Luke’s art faculty can be seen at the School's current art exhibition.
As Shared by St. Luke’s Art Teachers:

As individuals and as a collective, we use art from throughout time and place in order to understand what it means to be human. Art provides documentation, context, purpose, and, hopefully, enjoyment.

As art educators, we teach a myriad of artists, artistic movements and techniques in our classes. We encourage study and practice of all different techniques, materials, cultures, and intentions. We are surrounded by artwork at every point in our lives.

So what kinds of artwork do we, as individuals, choose to surround ourselves with when we are in our own personal spaces? Do we have a particular style or subject matter that we prefer to adorn our own walls with at our homes? How did we acquire these works, and what do they mean to us as individuals?

The Works on Our Walls is an exhibition featuring artwork from the personal collections of the members of the St. Luke’s art faculty. Included in the exhibition are some notations about how the works came into our possession, their significance to us as people, and why we choose to live with these works in our homes.

We hope that you enjoy seeing these works as much as we appreciate having them in our homes.

St. Luke’s art faculty members include Sean Lynch, Nancy Sarno, Haley Wulfman, and Jeorge Yankura. The art display can be seen in the Art Gallery in the Jensen Family Humanities Wings next to the library.
