Spanish Students See El Repertorio Español Production

V. Parker
On May 3, Sr. Pontaza’s AP Spanish class headed to the La Gran Manzana to see the El Repertorio Español’s new musical production of La Canción.

Pontaza reflected on the experience: "My AP students really enjoyed La Canción which tells the story of Rafa, a young man from the Bronx with a passion for music. Rafa tells his story through an amalgam of musical genres from rap to tropical tunes, including  salsa, merengue and bachata. It was a great opportunity for my students to apply their Spanish skills outside the classroom.”
