And the 2019 Yearbook is Dedicated to...

V.Parker
The entire school gathered in the Seldin Performing Arts Center for the annual yearbook dedication ceremony. Head editors of the Caduceus—Lilly Purkiss and Cassie Long—announced this year's comic book theme to “incorporate the fun energy that is St. Luke’s.”

This year’s Caduceus was dedicated to Julia Gabriele, Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations. Gabriele also served part of the year as Acting Head of School.

From the Yearbook Dedication Assembly on May 22: “This year’s yearbook dedication goes to Ms. Gabriele. Clever emails, timely snow days, homemade cheese, and tea kept the seniors sane during Mr. Davis’ sabbatical. Up until now, most of Ms. Gabriele’s work has been behind the scenes—namely designing the new building—but we’ve been beyond fortunate to get to know St. Luke’s very own Princess Diana. Getting to know the warm and welcoming nature of our temporary head of school made the seniors’ last year memorable, and we’re pleased to dedicate our 2018-2019 yearbook to her in thanks.”

Additional members of the yearbook committee included Juan Rosario, Chandler Greene, Emma Cropper, Susanna Montgomery, Michael Hage, Oz Jensen, Emma Tarleton, Michael Thompson, and Aida Nahas. The cover and additional cartoon artwork were created by Clara Pakman.

Yearbooks will be distributed to seniors this week. Students in other grades who have ordered a copy can pick up their yearbooks during both Middle School and Upper School lunches on the last three days of school.

For students who still want to order a yearbook, you may bring a check to the Business Office (located upstairs from the 5th grade hallway). Checks should be made out to St. Luke’s School, and the cost is $85. Yearbooks will continue to be on sale until supplies last.
