Daniel Clarke
Following an exciting and successful winter season, a number of our student-athletes were recognized with postseason accolades.

In Varsity Hockey, Lars Ernberg ‘20 was named in the All-FAA Second Team for his outstanding contributions on the ice, and Bear Crystal ‘20 was given an Honorable Mention for his stellar performances. The puck squad’s highlight of the season was a dramatic 2-1 win at local rivals King, which earned them a spot in the FAA tournament. Unfortunately, the Storm lost in the semifinal to Rye Country Day School.

An extremely youthful Boys Varsity Squash team enjoyed another season on the courts, with Liam Patty ‘21 and Cameron Hill ‘21 named on the All-FAA Team. Kaan Savasoglu received an Honorable Mention, as the team placed sixth overall in FAA, 11th overall at Nationals and earned a fourth-place finish at the New England Tournament.

In Girls Squash, Caroline Pellegrino ‘21 was named All-League FAA for the third consecutive year and Ryan Weil received an Honorable Mention for her tremendous efforts this year. The highlight of the season was a fourth-place finish at the 2020 Head U.S. High School Team Squash Championships.

Phoebe Kurth ‘20 had another season to remember for the St. Luke’s Ski team. In four races, she finished in third place three times and fourth once. Her excellent form earned her a place on the State Team for the fourth straight year, and she also qualified for Team CT for the fourth consecutive year. The senior captain qualified eighth overall in the Giant Slalom and Slalom shootout events.
