Still Time To Take Part In New MS Field Day

Daniel Clarke
This year’s Middle School Field Day was reimagined by Associate Athletic Director Jen Besgen. and features 13 special events, which can be carried out anytime between May 18 and June 1.

The St. Luke’s Field Day One-Minute Challenges were sent to students on Monday, May 18, and rather than competing in different teams, this year’s contest is a grade-level competition. To receive credit, students need to videotape themselves doing each activity and then submit the video. The grade with the most class participants will be named the winner.

Each challenge has been demonstrated by a group of St. Luke’s seniors, which should be viewed before completing.

There is still time to compete in the St. Luke’s Middle School Field Day events and submit your entries via Flipgrid. Scores and final times are not required for this friendly competition, but students are welcome to include them.

Besgen said: “These activities are perfect because anyone can participate. They’re intended to be silly, and I believe we accomplished that. Whether you compete with or against family members, everyone will have a few laughs. My favorite part of all of this is that our seniors were able to demonstrate the events. Thank you, seniors!”

Good luck to all!
