St. Luke’s Students Celebrate Their Love of French

S.A.
St. Luke’s students enjoyed National French Week and celebrated their love of all things French. Kicking off the week, students and staff enjoyed a delicious treat of Belgian waffles from the Waffle Cabin in honor of French-speaking Belgium. For lunch, Flik dining services offered French-inspired plat du jour dishes such as coq au vin, Haitian chicken, and Louisiana creole.

At the beginning of the week, students learned about francophone countries from around the world, using interactive flyers with QR codes to scan and bring information into the palm of their hands. Students taking French at St. Luke’s were invited to participate in the AATF National Francophone Culture Trivia Contest. Those with the highest scores will participate in the Finals Rounds along with other students from across the country the week of November 16.

As this year’s National French Week has taught us, “Tout est possible avec le français!” You can see photos from St. Luke’s National French Week Celebration here.
