Grit ‘N Wit: Team Building and Bonding

S.A.
On Tuesday, Sept. 21, 9th and 10th grade students participated in Grit ‘N Wit, a fun team-building experience that features 16 physical obstacles and puzzles. Students worked together to discover each other’s strengths and to complete the challenges successfully.

Head of Upper School Liz Perry describes the goal behind the experience: “We wanted our 9th and 10th graders to bond as a class, practice teamwork, and have fun together as we kicked off the year ... and wow, this event delivered. What a treat to spend time outside, under a perfect early fall sky, watching our students squealing with laughter and cheering each other on!”

Mary Frederick, Assistant Head of Upper School, added, “The joy on the kids’ faces was fantastic. I want to thank everyone who helped make Grit ‘N Wit an amazing experience for our students.” She went on to say, “During advisory and class meetings, we will follow up on these events and talk a lot about what it means to be part of a team. We look forward to continuing our class bonding work with our 9th and 10th graders.”
