On Thursday, Feb. 16, the Forese Fireplace Commons buzzed with students, parents, siblings, friends, faculty, and staff during Middle School Math Family Game Night. Families spent the evening trying math games, solving puzzles, and playing chess. From number mazes to the Tower of Hanoi, there was something to get involved in for everyone.

After playing each game, participants earned raffle tickets to enter to win fun prizes, including St. Luke’s swag, a candy and popcorn gift basket, and coupons for free drinks and snacks. As the evening ended, students were eager to play one more game and earn a raffle ticket. Much appreciation for the raffle prizes donated by the SLS bookstore, FLIK, Bobby Valentine's Sports Academy, and the Prospector Theatre.

Thank you to all the families who joined us; we look forward to seeing you at next year’s event! A special thank you to sixth grade math teacher Susan Garnett ‘06, the Middle and Upper School math departments, and the Upper School student volunteers who helped coordinate this fun-filled event.
