Exploring St. Luke’s STEM Curriculum at Middle School Family STEM Night

S.A.
At the end of February, St. Luke’s hosted the Middle School Family STEM Night. This exciting event brought close to 100 families together to participate in a wide range of hands-on, STEM-related activities that were both educational and fun.

During the event, families delved into interactive mathematics, hands-on robotics, engaging science showcases, and collaborative engineering challenges, sparking joy and igniting a passion for learning in all attendees.

At the event, the seventh grade hosted a “Life-Size Human Body Exhibition” that showcased the structure and function of each system of the human body, the interaction between systems, and the impact various diseases have on the different systems.

“Our first annual Family STEM Night was a resounding success,” shared Assistant Head of Middle School Mark Chuhta. “It fostered curiosity and engagement among students and families and showcased the vibrant collaboration and innovation at the heart of our school community.”

Thank you to the faculty and staff from our science, math, and designLab departments who collaborated to create this unique learning experience.
