SLS Theater Recognized with Top Halo Awards

On Tuesday, May 27, SLS Theater attended the 2025 Halo Awards at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, presented by the Seven Angels Theater Company. The Halo Awards honor every aspect of high school theater: actors, singers, stagehands, directors, dancers, designers, and more.

This year, SLS was nominated for 10 awards and came home with three prizes:

Best Male Performance in an Ensemble Production
Cole McQuaid ‘27: Almost, Maine

Best Stage Management
Aviva Moss ‘25: Almost, Maine & Mamma Mia!

Best Specialty Ensemble in a Musical
Ali DeFilippo ‘25, Alex Sheinkin ‘25, & Juliet Geraci ‘25: Mamma Mia!
