Workshop Description:
Prepare to take your competitive speech and debate skills to the next level at SLS' Advanced Competitive Speech & Debate Bootcamp.
Designed for rising 8th through 12th grade students with prior experience in competitive speech and debate (or who were previously enrolled in the Introduction to Competitive Speech & Debate session), this camp focuses on refining each student's performance in their chosen event to excel during the upcoming competitive season. Students will work on advanced techniques in their chosen event while participating in practice rounds and mini-tournaments that mimic competition conditions.
Led by SLS Debate Coach Bryce Piotrowski, a two-time National Speech and Debate Association Diamond Award recipient who has coached multiple Texas State and NSDA National Tournament champions, coaches will provide individualized feedback to help students strengthen their arguments, enhance their delivery skills, and enter the new season ready to compete at their best.
